Saturday School of Community Languages

Saturday School of Community Languages is part of NSW government projects and an initiative by the Department of Education. This respectable institution, which offers foreign language learning for high school students, through elective classes. In addition to a number of other languages, we can proudly say that the Bosnian language has been included in the curriculum of this School for several years. It should be noted that the Bosnian Ethnic School, in front of the entire Bosnian community in New South Wales, considers this event a great success, because many individuals, professionals, professors and pedagogues fought for this result, and it is important to mention the contribution of the current BiH Ambassador to Australia and New Zealand, Mirza Hajrić.

Currently, the Bosnian language, as a subject of elective classes, can be attended by high school students from 7th to 10th grade, with the possibility of offering these classes to 11th and 12th grade students. Saturday School for High School Students takes place every Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the Liverpool Girls High School location, and many classes are led by lecturer Senida Krcic.
